The theory of self-balancing tires was introduced in the fifties. Early versions used a granulated balancing material that worked to some degree, but left plenty of room for improvement. The latest technology from Tech Plus uses super microbeads inside the tires that “flow” to compensate for imbalances in the tire that occur during normal driving conditions. The beads will not wear out and no maintenance or action is required by the driver.
Standard on the Ever-Lite™ brand, these microbeads are 98 percent round and are coated to avoid static cling and moisture that would inhibit their free movement within the tire. As you drive, the beads automatically flow to correct the balance in the tire at all times.
